i bought these for the Texas Mile as they are rated for 200+ mph. 

you should buy them if you have 9 to 10.5 wheels front and 10 to 11 rear. while they have just two mile runs on them, they have been tightly bagged for a number of years. since rayon, steel and polyamide don't ever degrade the remaining material is the rubber. and rubber can degrade over time.

if they are properly stored, the rubber retains it's durometer.

note the two pictures that follow. the durometer of the for sale set is 60. the durometer of a brand new set is 64!

in other words the older tires are slightly softer than the new tires. softer is better, lower durometer is better.

since they haven't hardly been driven the tread depth is as new, 6/32.

Tire Rack classifies them as "Streetable Track and Competition"  9.3 Dry Traction.
