Seems it could mean a higher offer or a lower offer depending on circumstance.

 

I think maybe the Petterson Auto Museum should get involved here. This kind of "garage find' is getting rare.

Needs to be preserved as is.

What would the museum have to loose?

They could have a display that encapsulates the thrill of a random unexpected find.

Will be interesting. It’s similar to how houses are sold haha. I think the mileage issue hurts the potential value but still, the $4k asking price was too low. I def don’t think it’s a $20k car, but if he can get it, why not.

 

Replace the taillights ($200), pull the dings ($800) , spend an hour wiping things down ($0), rebuild the motor (whether you need to or not) ($5000) and you of fto BAT to make your fortune.

Also Dig up a hood and fenders ($1000).

Yeah close this thread. Such a tease, haha. I'm so late to the party. I'm 40 minutes away from Sunnyvale so I definitely would of been interested.

 

Go do a ground search. Maybe it is sitting there moldering.
