super dash display

many may know this but...

i have been road tuning/dyno tuning w my laptop. no more.

i now use the small Microsoft Surface Go 2. Windows 10 installed around $350. when road tuning my laptop sat on the pass seat. since the Go 2 is the smaller Surface i have it mounted with regular duty Velcro approx in front of the mostly non-functioning Bose. Velcro because i often remove it to change settings or send a log to my laptop.

here's my initial dash display on the Surface:

and from my laptop

it took about 5 minutes to download the Link software and get up and running. i needed to get a USB adapter so the smaller (faster) USB port on the Surface could hook up to the older USB male on the Link cable. i met w Link at the PRI yesterday and they are going to make available a USB cable w the newer style USB male to eliminate the need for an adapter.

thanks to rx7srbad for the tip...
