Wow a cobra wing? From what i remember those things cost $300 new. I would say "flow"ed out mustangs and riced out civics are about even when it comes to their presence on the highways and bi-ways of america..

Cars arent people, they are pieces of metal and plastic. I'm neither a domestic or import guy. I like imports a bit more, but if a good domestic came around that looked nice i'd have no problem buying it over an import.
the thing thats boring about central jersey is too many of those mustangs and ricers know their place on the food chain. i have never had a mustang try to race me, or a crappy import. the few races ive gotten into have been with e46 m3s on the highway, nsxs, and turbo hondas/acuras.

i have even gotten thumbs down driving down somerville on a friday night just because people dont respect imports.

I recently aquired a car second hand (transitional until i can afford my fc). I say that stang drivers are very cocky. But they are a lot of fun... To beat. I killed one with my moms 3.5 maxima. Some people can't admit defeat. I have to admit I feel pretty cocky in the maxima as opposed to my 94 sentra. With a nice car anybody will feel cocky. Sadly most people base how cocky they feel on the price tag or cars rep... But I know most of you know how good it feels to win a race... One of those "Oh Yeah I am the ****..." Most people also confuse confidence in their machinery with cockiness. Confidence is with a seven knowing that you can hold your own against most other cars. Cocky is with a mustang that has a different badge than what it actually is thinking you are the fastest. Nos is retarded. I am pretty sure for the price you can get more horsepower that is constant. I do admit Nos can be effective... And not all 25 under people are stupid... Just unexerienced and uncultured.

how much hp you think you got?

cocky: as in they think they are the **** and no one is better than them.

As far as FD owners go... I haven't met one yet that is cocky. I'm sure they are out there but I haven't met one, which in itself doesn't mean much since I've only met a handful lol.

Once again you're all lumping Stang drivers into a general category. It's easy to lump any car driver into a general category. For example, I could say all RX-7 drivers are either dorky or asian. I'd probably be right for the most part too.

There are alot of very fast Stangs out there, trust me.

LOL I own both does this make me only part *******.

I use my stangs for the track and my rx7's for having a blast at high speeds.

You can't compare the 2 cars in the same type of racing.

I would rather road course an rx7 any day
would rather drag a stang

As a mustang owner, with a built/supercharged 2000 I appologize. There are bad breeds no matter what kind of car... rx7's too. The only problem is there is about 14 bazillion more mustangs so that means more idiots.

Also, I didnt just sign up for this post. I just bought a 93 MB.

People around here aren't down for domestics either,
we roll in our imports, just your typical import enthuasists.

and we get LOTS of ricers/Stang, Slowmaro's etc.
trying to race us, and I've yet to lose ^_^.
I try to give them a wave or a thumbs up. because some of them have nice cars.
but w/e some peoples attitudes are so negative.

This guy was in a 07 Mustang Boss GT
and me and my buddy were in his highly modified Skyline GT-R.
LOL the idiot revved at us, we had him right off the start.
its like he drove one of those flinstone cars.

I'd have never even continued the conversation other than to say, "**** you, *****" or something along those lines once it had degenerated into the 'let's race for money' blah blah. Kid like that is the type that ends up killing someone, as he doesn't understand the meaning of 'lose'.
Too bad a potentially cool ride like that early 'Stang is owned by a dork.
