I have always loved to race 1/4 mile from 16 years old, and i learned its not beating someone thats important but shareing the fun and excitment of racing. I will even help someone to beat me if i can thats fun too, and then try to beat them. But i dont like trash talkers that think your beat before the run i try to be modest and just injoy what the sport has to offer! The rednecks i talked about are good ole boys and give respect if you earn it, but if you dont they give major ****! Thanks again.

Yes i drive to the track round trip about 50 miles, and in the city becouse its dangerous if i dont the car wants to go sideways on the cith streets. Plus i only drive it in dry weather as im sure you know why. I bumpted the thread to show the vid of 1.52 launch on stock fly wheel for a guy in the single section to watch. Since im not good at posting picts and vids! Hows the car comming?

I go to school near you, at Ozark Christian College in Joplin. Just so happens my stepdad was there when you won... He has a cuda, and hangs with his little Cuda buddies quite often. I think the guy that owns the purple ones name is Ed. Never the less, it was nice to hear him say that he saw a car like mine beat a car like his... .

Thats great to hear its a small world, i was kidded about racing that night by everyone. There was over a 100 people watching at about 2:00 am and each one had something nice to say. Well except a couple of losers! Good to hear from you!

Wow, this is just how I feel--except I've have a handful of cars which were not very fast. Mind if I quote you on this? I hope I'm 1/2 as cool as you are in 30 years! (I'm 28 yrs old ) I wish more people had the same attitude as you do about racing and fast cars and all of that. I think that ego gets in the way all the time. That makes racing less fun, sometimes no one even has the manners to give you a look on the street... until they realize what they're playing with Oh well. Keep it up, your car is bad@$$

Thanks for the complement! I truly enjoy my rx7 even when breaks my heart. Too many people my age are hooked on being dull, but ive been married 3 times have two grown daughters had 6 heart attacks and many other health problems to many to list and have had more and been more places than the average person. Ive been self imployed for 30 years and made millions but i enjoy being one of the kids in the car scene. Most of my friends are 20/40 years old and i love the way that i have been accepted. I really like the way most of the pro import racers are willing to help there competitors the way we should help each other . Any way thanks again a good luck!

holy crap man, if ur such a badass at 58 i'd hate to see u in ur younger days. good to see someone older with such a nice set up. that vid was great. i know how it is to get crap from domestic car guys, my dad has 2 chevelles (that would smoke the **** out of my car) and a lot of other guys around here are into domestics. i respect v8s but i'll stick to my imports

I am in O'Fallon, MO right now for break. The FD usually stays here since at Ozark, I have to live on campus and there is no garaging. Is there any nice car spots up there anywhere?
