So my friend has a del sol, quite a sexy little sleeper if i might add. has a gsr with a type r head. hes pretty well respected around my ways, and a good friend. I have a stock 89 GTU, only suspension mods. so we were just rolling around areas and i asked him if he wanted to race for fun, cuz earlier we tried from a roll and he just demolished me. so he said yea but he doesnt have any tires, so i said that should give me an advantage. we line up outside a truckstop, he makes me honk, on the third honk i launch nicely, just a little chirp and i was off. i heard his vtec kick in and it sounded like a monster. in my head i thought he was going to fly by my before i hit 3rd. but no i never saw him till the last second when we were passing the last light pole (finish line). i say i won, he sais he did, so its w/e i had fun. we wanted to do it again but decided it wouldnt be smart.

On the way home from school yesterday, there was about 4 cars rollin together ****** round on the main road, i caught up with them before we got to the parkway. we all got on the parkway and came to a stop light, my friend next to me has a silver gti, turboed with tiptronic tranny. i ask him if he wants to race, he studders but then agrees. so light turns green and i launch once again (not as perfect this time), but im ahead about a car length, i noticed he went to go shift into second i was only about 5k rpm, so i red lined it and shot to second and i hear his turbo spooling up (first turboed car i ever ran against). shot the third, and he started gaining on me very slowly, he had eventually passed me right before i hopped into 4th and he slowed down. i gave him a thumbs up and was kidna upset i didnt get away with a victory, damn turbo lol. i want a tII now.

hahaha yes sir! and btw about 2 weeks ago i went to maliks that one friday u told me to go. it was pretty tight, alot of my friends showed up and we ended up hittin the freeway to MD. where were u at? i was hoping to show off that FD of urs.

 

I kinda ran a 5spd MKIV VR6 GTI for fun last night at a light, didn't launch but stayed within a car till like 70 when he slammed on his brakes lol. Drag racing is quite boring with an NA in my opinion, cool kills reguardless.

ive been to a few of the chic-fill-a meets, they are always packed in good weather but i didnt think anyone would go out in winter......

 

Yeah me neither, the turnouts are pretty small now I just went Friday since it was somewhat nice out to hit a local backroad before it snowed again My friend just got his built streetported S5 GTU back on the road so we cruised up there from RP with a first gen. Hopefully it'll start getting warmer so more people can show up
