Well put it this way, my fc is 400kg lighter than my old mans monaro, his is stock 180rwkw i have 167rwkw, a stock monaro does a 14.3, mine does a 13.5. You would have to be a shitload lighter to beat a car that is that much more powerfull than you is what im saying. On the street i dont pull on him by that much, not from a rolling start anyway

 

my buddies 99si on 8psi from a greddy kit.. not sure what turbo that uses.. 18g i think) ran consistant mid 13's on street tires. that a similar weighted or possibly heavier car than the integra.. point is.. any turbo honda on a b series should be well into the 13's, and we all know that a 12a on his mods isnt going to do that, but we can believe that integra man dropped his cigarette into his lap, or blew an ic pipe off, or had the worlds shittiest tune, or any other number of things...

Well fb's were good in their day, but i havent heard of anyone but other rotor owners get excited of them. A mate of mine has an n/q 13b one and its slow as. Yes i call myself slow rotor and had put rotor noob under my name as i still consider myself new to them. I have however owned a rotor for 2 years now and in that time have done a full bare metal repspray on it including the engine bay, so i have pulled everything out of that engine bay at least once. Also i may have noob under my name but i don't go around telling everyone to call my mechanic to say how fast it is. So what does your car do down the strip anyway, most likely a 15 a boosted teg would have whooped your *** enough said stop dreaming

Not if it's his first turbo car it's a big difference. All he is thinking is not to push it too hard because it doesn't wanna **** it up. He's still learning and bettering his driving skills when it comes to driving turbo over NA, it's a big difference.

I didn't ask anyone to come in here and get personal with anyone else. I just appreciated someone backing up a fellow RX7 owner because to my surprise I'd expect that more then people questioning someone's thread about a kill they had. I do understand, and see, people posting bullshit threads here and there and yes quite a few of them don't seem true at all. I tried to present as much info as I can and even answered whatever questions people had (no matter what they were even if they argued the race) to prove a point.

In the end, it was a nice kill and i'm over it. This thread is so stupid now people coming in after everything has already been talked about to try to create more discussion on **** that doesn't need to be. Secondly, I already talked about the turbo teg and the owner and his build so maybe that will help you understand. I also stated that I HAVE lost to a turbo teg before, big time, my buddy has a red one that spanks me like nothing because he's had it for 2 years and KNOWS how to drive his car. Get as much mod info on each car as you can. Get engine bay shots prior to the race if possible too. Take a look at some of the well edited race videos that are on the net. Most of the good ones have all these things. Do the same and you will have no problems.
