this threads getting retarded even thoguh its slightly still entertaining. after reading the whole thing i will say this, of course its possible for this to happen. theres a lot of things that play into it condition of the car, set up, etc. and sure some ppl talk about driver skill and its one thing to say that in a race that involved any corners but unless i read this wrong u went in a straight line. how much skill does it take? people always say "oh the other driver must not know how to drive" and im thinking, if u cant drive in a straight line then stay off the road. another thing that doesnt make sense is how a small turbo has the lag of a big turbo. if not sure whats up with that but its not ur car so i dont expect you to know either. im just saying a small turbo that hits boost at 5k doesnt make sense. even if u look pat all of that and assume that every condition was in ur favor (ie- he cant drive, car not properly tuned, car not in good shape, bad launch, whatever) when he came up to you why didnt he say "hey i really cant drive for ****" or " my car isnt running right.... but i'll be back" instead of "zomg, how is ur na so fast?"

But regardless, of course in the conversation days later he had said that he'd win next time it happens or whatever but he asked "why is your NA so fast" because it is pretty fast for what I have. Trust me people do not kno how to drag race, even more when its from a dig...my lil bro is 13 and he has NO clue how to do it... he has a 85 with about the same mods as cbz and i have my half-bridge TII, if i drove his car and he drove mine i would spank his *** in a quarter mile because he cant drive for **** even tho my car is faster...perfect example ehh??

LOL, well, my car was an 84 with a built 13b with no accessories, stripped, and had about the minimal parts you can have and still be able to take it on the road. Your car isn't lighter, and the engine was putting down a lot more power....

sry G35's and 350Z's arent really all that fast, especially from a dead start. and turbo teg's are overrated; i have an RSX as my daily driver that was supercharged, 9 lb pulley and i could walk a 350Z/G35C as long as i had traction, yet my '84 GSL-SE RX-7 wasnt all that much slower even from a roll. weight is a much larger issue than most people think.

What are you a retard, I never said it "had" to be small, I just made an assumption based on facts I already knew from previously owning a Honda. And according to Cbz when he called his "integra" friend it was a small turbo. Most people running 8 psi on Hondas are using T25s T03's and T28's TD04's and many others they've either bought on ebay or pulled from the junkyard. And the T03's are wastegated at 8 psi, I know I own one.

On top of that the size of the turbo is key to learning as to how likely the supposed outcome was, a big turbo longer spool means the N/A has an advantage from a dig. A small turbo with a quicker spool pretty much negates the N/A advantage.

Second, when did I say he was the one that had to do the filming? Bring a buddy, make a camera mount, I dont give a crap how you do it.

Im not acting pissed off at the world, simple fact is and if you cant agree your retarted. A stock B20 makes more power than a 13b, at 8 psi, it would be making at least twice what a 13b makes. A teg is ONLY in worst case scenario 3-400 lbs. heavier! At twice the amount of power that difference in weight would be neglidgable at best. If you didnt call someone out on that near unbeleiveable scenario your the idiot! The amount of factors that have to be wrong with the teg make it a very slight possibility that it could happen. Sure its possible, but he has a thousand to one shot! He got lucky if he did win! If you had any idea as to how many people come in here and post BS you would know WHY people get called out!

well driving in a straight line and drag racing is not the same, THERE are people that do not know how to drag race, is like the example i made, if you have a car that has his powerband at 10000k and you shift it at 6000k your gonna lose everytime. drag racing is not only to go in a straight line, you have to know how to drive, ive seen drivers that suck **** in drag racing. i remembered a friend of my bro that had a 1993 civc hb with a jdm b16 swap, it was fully built. high comp pistons, skunk2 cams, fidanza cam gears, head work etc. the guy was getting beat all the time because he shifted at 7000k. who the hell shift a fully built b16 n/a honda engine at 7k, you have to rev the crap out of it at least 9000, 9500rpms. after someone show him how to DRIVE his car then he wasn't getting beat all the time. you see, that's one factor that involves drag racing and the most common that sucks, that is the DRIVER behind the wheel.

I think he prolly took him. I have a similar setup...stockport 13b, mikuni 44 sidedraft carb, rb headers, all straight pipe to rb muffler..was told by the guy that did the swap makes about 180 rwhp..what you guys think?
