Well i finaly got my coolant problem fixed. I decided i would take her out and actualy drive hard for the first time in a month. Im just crusin along and this 2000-2004 Cavalier (z24 w.e. the hell that means) comes flying past me and then slows down, i guess to race. He had decals everywhere, rims, and a pretty clean body kit. We get to a redlight finlay and I'm behind him. He stared at me through his rearview mirror for the length of the light. Now, I wouldn't normaly waste my gas on a guy like this, but i hadnt really driven her in awhile, so i said what the hell. Green! He squeals like a bitch and I don't even launch in fear of hitting him :-) My afc was reading 70% throttle through first to avoid rear ending the poor guy. Finally i space opens up on the right i take it and run past him. I mean RUN past him. Thats cool and all but the look on his face was priceless. He was glaring at me and shaking his head and does the "pshhh w.e." look ur sister would do to you. I put about 10 lengths by the top of 3rd. I slow down and his comes up beside me and says:

Ricer: Is that all you got?

Micah: Yea man, thats all I got (sarcasticly)

Ricer: Duuuuuude....I was like givin it half throttle the whole way

Micah: Thats why you grinded into second right?

Ricer: Whatever you *****....

LOL...is was great.

oih and the Z24 is the most powerful and ' sporty ' Cavalier made
the z24 is a knockoff of the z28 Camero its to let people know this cavalier means business and is ' powerful '

 

Yeah a good friend of mine had a 2000 z24 and it was quick, but nothing compared to a 7.

 

I've actualy been beaten by a "cavalier" before. But it had a buick regal v8 engine swap. He had around 240 to the wheel plus a 75 shot. Now that was a quick car. Beat me by 4 lengths or so.
