If you want to talk about your slk, make a seperate post. Dont try to involve it in a debate that it obviously has nothing to do with. Thats the only point i was trying to make with my original post, so sorry it offended you.

How about neither, the cost of the car was never mentioned...What does wealth have to do with the conversation anyway??? Why did YOU even bring it up??? (Irony)
What part of lighten up didn't you grasp? It was a JOKE.
Who made you the post police? Big hint: I and anyone else here can post what we want.

I think you think i am taking this more seriously than I am. I am just really enjoying busting your *****.
Including myself (Irony) I guess that ends our little side arguement.

BTW: Are you trying to flaunt your "possesions" with your list of mods?

You think a little modded SLK is big stuff? Christ it's my wifes car! I wasn't trying to flaunt anything, I'm just a bit beyond that. We all aren't your age.
And that's quite evident. I believe when you first mentioned the car, you referred to it as "my" slk. Forgotten whose it is? They do say that the memory is the first thing to go when you become a senior citizen...
You aren't busting anyones *****. You are showing your age and intellect which may rival a barnyard chicken on a good day.
And speaking of farm animals, I could make reference to quite a few jackasses in this thread.

Maybe someday when you become an adult & get married, you will learn that household possessions don't "belong" to one party or the other? This may be a novel concept to you, but as husband & wife, you share everything you own without a second thought.
BTW, when I said "my SLK", I was referring to my household (my wife doesn't peruse some RX-7 internet forum as entertainment - "I" do, thus the terminology ,"my SLK"). Maybe, just maybe, this is also why when a couple reports taxable income to the IRS, it's called "gross household income". So our cars are not "mine", not my "wife's", they are "our's" = joint Household Income.
Senior Citizen? This is coming from a guy that calls himself "Merlin", ironicly an "old" wizard character from fantasyland? Geezuz. WHERE do you some of you clowns come from?

The conditions were basically stock twins, all bolt ons, and YOU having done it. He was saying that it was impossible for YOU to do it, not that it was actually impossible.
You probably should have taken it more personally.

As far as my screen name goes, maybe you should take a look at my avatar as that's the name of the bird. Good try though. It's sad to see that money can only buy you possessions and not a little bit of couth instead.

Children! Children! can't we all just get along??? i mean really why must we fight? we are all brothers pursuing a greater good....absolute hp out of a rotary engine. if some one says "I've made 360-400 HP on stock twins" why don't you ask how and where he did his tuning instead of bickering like a bunch of elementary school kids. i mean really. am i the only sensible person in this thread?? and no i don't want to start a fight. i am just trying to bring a little civility here! and besides i WISH i could say i had an slk with 500+ hp even if it was my wifes. now you two kiss and make up!!

So you just switched around the possession of the car in this thread to try and demean him a little more. Yeah, that's real mature. And maybe when you grow up, which doesn't seem to be anytime soon since you haven't done it in the past 40 years, you'll realize that snobby little comments like "oh, you mean THAT mercedes, oh that's nothing, it's just my wife's" make you look ridiculously conceited.

You were proven wrong about horsepower on stock twins & got your azz handed to you. You then tried switching topics when proven wrong. It didn't work then and it ain't working now. You should quit worrying about other people's cars & focus on your own issues - you obviously have a HUGE chip on your shoulder.

Nobody "switched" possession of any cars. Can you not read our cars don't "belong" to one person or the other - they are all "ours". We are MARRIED. There are these little things in the English language called possessive modifiers, "your" "his" "hers" "mine". When he mentioned your car, which had no relevance in the thread at all btw, you suddenly mentioned. "You think a little modded SLK is big stuff? Christ it's my wife's car!" as if that somehow makes his original comment less important. You following now? Should I go buy you a speak and spell?

Yeah, I'm obviously the one who has the problem considering the original statement that kicked this off wasn't even directed at you.

Sure, you clowns are so ignorant.
Yellow R1 made 357 rwhp on a hot California day on a heat soaked engine with a slipping clutch at 14 psi. Steve Kahn couldn't finish tunning it because the clutch wouldn't hold. (Streetport and all the bolt ons.) The car was not on a dynojet either but a MUSTANG dyno which reads lower than a dynojet. (5-10% lower than a dynojet)
The dyno will be posted shortly.
Steve Kahn also tuned another engine last year with a streetported engine I build, same port all the bolt-ons with stock twins, the car made 374 rwhp.

Before you start trying to correct somebody's grammar (which is comical to say the least), learn how to quote Sport (and use commas).
Secondly, you still can't seem to grasp that it makes no difference if either me or the wife drive OUR cars (the SLK, the RX-7, or the G35). Any of "our" cars is "my" car, but hey, trying to communicate with a farm animal has proven pretty pointless (buy funny as hell along the way).
Do us all a favour, quit worrying about other people's possessions & go play with your bird. You two can converse on how driving a Mercedes makes someone "conceited".

Lmao, that's the best you've got, you don't agree with my quoting? Give me a break.

Whether you just choose to ignore logic or you just can't quite understand it, you look pretty stupid doing either one. That being the case, I'm not going to try to school you any further as that's obviously pointless. I suggest selling one of your, there's one of those tricky modifiers again, cars and using the money to hire a private tutor. It'd seem pretty silly if a 40 year old ordered Hooked On Phonics.

You two are about to go on my ignore list. You are so blatantly off topic with this thread it's not even funny. Go thump your chests in PM's or on AIM or something. Better yet get a hotel room. On my bill.

Really? Is that why you brought it up when no one else did and then continued to harp on it?
Don't worry about something you'll never have anything to do with.
Well, I have a wife and you have your bird...
Big words out of a 20 year old...What did you say your education level was?
Nothing like high school wit.
