The layout of the drivewheels is pertinent in both circuit/road and drag. With drag, FR's of the same weight need lower whp than FF's, all other variables held constant. It's just a consequence of the weight-shift upon acceleration. With circuit, using the front tires to brake, accelerate and corner wears the tires more so than a car that uses the front tires to brake and corner only.

Still, a lot of touring cars are FF, look at Speedworld Challenge, there's plenty of RSX's, TSX's and Mazda6's. Rally is also a good playground for FF's, since stability is desired on surfaces with poor traction. FF is fine for moderate level racing, but once you get to the ultimate form, high hp, low weight racing, (Le Mans, F1, etc...) you will never see FF since the concept of FF was more out of a concern for safety and making sure non-skilled drivers won't spin out while leaving the lot with their new cars (exaggeration, but u sorta see my point)
Bravo, you know what you're talking about. Yes, FWD is inferior in alot of aspects, is it as bad as people make it to be? No. I'll never try to run Le Mans in my car, just AutoX and possibly Road Courses in the future when i get a job to support $200 a race. FWD is fine and will hold it's own against RWD with tuned suspension in this form of racing.

And you ARE a Goth boy.

Your Cocker Spaniel friend looks like those 12-14 year olds you see at concerts smoking cigarettes.

I don't care about any pictures, I don't care about people's opinions. All I need, to know that you're a goth, is how adamantly you defend that you are not a goth. May I refer to a fantastic article entitled "What the **** is emo" by Chuck Werner...

What the **** is emo

Edit: It may also be prudent for those of you seeking entertainment to read other such gems as "Fear and Loathing in Walmart"

Your opinion. His has taken 3 years of track abuse, nitrous, and highway pulls. Still has perfect compression and has only had to replace tires on it.

So its your opinion. I'll stick with mine.

This makes me cry. My corsica is faster than that now comeon now give a little biut of creadit if my heavy *** car is faster than that a cavi is faster than that. Even though the Cavi is pretty much a **** box back in 93 the Z24 was something to be scared of. That sumbitch will flat out get it. I saw one around here that ran with a T2 i was like WTH. He had a cam and a custom turbo. OMG it was nice. For a Cavi. Oh yeah back then the Z24 was a 3.1lt 60 degree v6 making 153HP at the flywheel.

BTW mods to the Corsica. 16in rims sticky tires shift kit stiffer springs and strait exhaust and a cold air intake. Its my autoX car, and its loud as ****. LOL
