NJ New Product: IRP Knock Sensor Stud

Not satisfied with anything available off the shelf, we engineered a proper knock sensor mount that allows for easier install and sufficient clearance. Check it out.

Due to the pandemic and to simplify the shipping process we are currently only offering UPS and their shipping api calculates shipping. Unfortunately nothing I can do about that. Trying our best to continue to deliver parts to everyone in a timely fashion despite the challenges going on in the world.

Just curious -- how is the haltech sensor vs stock? I have a working stock one but I have no clue how to interpret what's bad.

Come with Connection?

Does the haltech sensor you sell have the harness connection in package?

congrats on engineering a better sensor mount. as you correctly determined the sensor needs to be space out a bit so the connector clears the housing.

excellant!

Can it be wired to the power fc? Any comparison with a stock knock sensor numbers? I’m about to replace my stock with a new one after the gel slowly leaked out. Just curious is my stock numbers are under 20 and what these would pick up and report.

Unfortunately no because there is no way to calibrate to the sensor with the power fc. The power fc also has no knock retard so there is no point. All the stock knock sesnor does is show a reference point.

I removed my elite knock stud and replaced it with this IR stud.

Note:

-It came with a nice nylon nut to retain the sensor in position
-It was sized properly fitting/filling my GM Bosch knock sensor
-The added spacer was dual purpose as it helped with the install as well as pushed the knock sensor away from the block

The best way to get ahold of us is to either call the shop or email. If you do not get an answer leave a message. Due to the amount of spam phone calls we will not return your call unless you leave a message. Due to staffing shortages and current workload social media is not consistently monitored. My team is looking into the website issue now. I apologize for the inconvenience.
