Hey everyone im Albert, ive taken a look at the forums for a while but never posted untill my friend joined a range rover forum and is actually learning a lot, so i figured why not. Im 18, graduated high school about a month ago and am off to college next year. I lifeguard/swim instructor all week and lifeguard on the weekends, and of course i find time to play rugby! As my daily driver i went out and bought a 97 geo tracker... yes i know what was i thinking? It was a good price, low mileage and gas was $4.00+ i thought what a steal, now i understand how wrong i was. So coming home from work one day i passed a red convertible by the side of the road i stopped and thats when my fascination hit the roof. I remembered my dad having a 2nd gen convertible and a 1st gen and loved them both, than the boss (wife/my mom) made him sell them. I watched over the car and the guy had no hurry in selling it. No online or newspaper ads. Soon enough he dropped down the price to basically we'd pay for the new leather seats and the new top, next thing i know graduation theres an 88 rx7 convertible in my driveway. I love the car but ill be honest i know nothing about rotary?! So it sits in the garage and gets driven on nice days, im trying to find a coupe to play/tinker around with and get to know these cars a little more. I hope on meeting a lot of new people and i look forward to gaining some knowledge on these cars
