WA what to do before porting?

im very new to tyhe rotary motor and ive read a bit about street porting, i would like to have my fb street ported and was curious what i should do before going about this to get the most gains out of it

You get the exhaust system upgraded to flow a lot more air first...2" minimum, 2.25" optimum, 2.5" if the sweet juice will be used. Street porting is not like porting a cylinder head on boinger, though, in the sense you can pull the head, get it ported and then bolt the head back onto the engine....which never was pulled from the car.

The rotary engine has to come completely apart for a good streetport job.

Optimize exhaust, then ignition, then rebuild to the streetport, upgrading the intake system will be last and usually the easiest....unless you go forced induction.
