Our plan is in phases, get it on the riad first, the engine is not working, we will remove it and look for local experts for next moves.

Do you suspect the engine to be low on compression? Do you know any of the car's history?

Here's a couple more shots.

We purchased with a known blow engine. After test we found 10psi on the rear and 50psi on the front.

We are doing the disassembly / removal.

Any recommendations on our 13b re-build in SoCal?

 

The car looks like a more than worthy candidate for a restoration! Are you rebuilding the engine yourself or havint it rebuilt by Atkins Rotary, Mazdatrix etc? How's the interior on the car?

 

Interior looks a lot like the outside.....

We will go as far as we can with the re-bulid. Fun!

 

Definitely looking forward to seeing the car's restoration! Would be cool to see a build thread on the car in the 2nd gen section!
