Well, Jose, thanks for taking the time to register and welcome aboard to RX-7 Club!

The more 1stgen folk who join, the better, so I hope you find that SA/FB and save another one from the crusher! I've got a couple of FB's myself.

O I love the title. I was a Honda guy to for a while and I do miss it very much. Had a Crx built up for autox in SM class and it was a blast beating cars that were way more expensive. The rotory experience is much different and not as easy to work on as a Honda. These cars have a temper and need love all the time, cant just beat on it like a Honda.

GL with the search. A VTEC powered car was my first car. I loved my 93 Prelude VTEC, it was a great little car except for the lack of torque.

You may be in for a shock working on a rotary vs a piston engine like your Honda. Piston engine are way more forgiving and will limp you home more reliably in the event of a catastrophe. Find one that been taken care of and have fun, though!

I had 3 EG civics, an s13, and now I own my FD. Out of all the cars I love the FD the most. Vtec was fun but it was time to go from toys to MAN toys :P A rotary is a whole new world. Make sure you do your research

I think its a different kind of fun.
I have 2 VTECs.. odyssey (lol), S2000 AP1.
Also have FC3S turbo II, and a STI.
they are all fun in their ways.

by the way, 3 of the above 4 has won the international engine of the year!
(im cheating a bit since the rotary engine that won is the 2003 rx-8 engine)
if you include my brothers M3, thats 4 out of 5!

The civic committed suicide about eight months ago(hydrolocked). So now I'm really needing a first gen!
