AB Tristan from Alberta

Hey yall, my name's Tristan and I'm a rotorholic. I live in Medicine Hat, AB Canada. I'm a mechanical engineer at a methanol plant. Just got my first FD (JDM '95 R2, Vintage Red), 10 years after almost buying one before I went to uni. Had an Rx8 for a couple years, was supposed to be the wife's car, so didn't really mod it. My other rides are an '11 Taurus, '03 Explorer and a '93 Ranger which has a 5.0. I'm putting a couple turbos on the ranger, so will be driving the FD until the Ranger is done. The FD has some good parts on it, HKS FMIC, boost controller, turbo timer, Intake, turbo-back exhaust, FconV, Aragosta coilovers, Rays/Mazdaspeed Gen5 competition 787B replicas, and summitomo HTR-Z3's. Probably other mods I missed. First mod is an Exedy clutch, as the throw out bearing is pooched. Would like to hear from anyone else from this neck of the woods (praries, rather). Ok done.

TE

Welcome. Although I'm in the province over, I do plan on a few roadtrips from time to time to BC (and maybe further). I just put my transmission back in after my clutch fork broke and completely messed up my release collar also.

Hey guys, I guess we'll have to meet up sometime. Not many Fd's in the hat, maybe 5, but I never see them out.
