Tribute to my brother Richard. PLEASE HELP!!!!!
My name is Nick and Im from Richmond, VA. I received a 1989 RX7 Coupe N/A from my older brother Richard about two years ago. He also had a 1988 RX7 TII that the word righteous was a clear understatement. The 89 ran great when he had it then he had some issues with it starting/running. I have been working out of town so the car has been neglected & is in need of many things.
Recently my older brother that gave me the car had a very unfortunate motorcycle accident. He broke his back in three spots. Server brain damage on the right side of his brain. Road rash on 75% of his body. Also fractures to almost every bone in his body.
Saying that this car is important to me is a understatement. My plans are to make this a tribute to him and represent many things. I want to do a TII swap, paint, minor interior, & some other performance upgrades. I will take any & all suggestions because rotary motors/mechanics are new to me.
I'm have looked/searched this forum many times before. I have noticed that alot of knowledgeable & experienced people are on this forum. Most are willing to help to others but also to keep the "Rotary Revolution" moving. I do own a 1991 CRX SI w/ GSR swap and a 1989 5.0 Mustang GT w/ twin turbo setup. Please don't hold this against me I promise I'm converted LMAO.

Welcome, and sorry about your brother.
Good luck with the car. From what I hear there is a pretty good group of 7s down around Richmond. I think this is their thread https://www.rx7club.com/ne-rx-7-forum-30/weekly-richmond-va-friday-night-starbucks-meet-new-location-533164/ Get in touch and enjoy.
