SR'd FC.. here it goes..

Hey there the names Jarret and im thinking its time for a intro thread on my 88 fc that i just picked up! Anyways ive always been a 240 guy and had about 4 of them but have always wanted a FC.

Well the other day at Evergreen speedway in Monroe, Wa i took my s13 into the wall at about 50 mph. Car wasnt totaled but i was ready for a new project anyways. So couple days later i picked up a 88 FC shell that had a SR in it in the past and was ready for my SR to go in!

So heres some pics of how things are going. As of right now cage and SR are in but everything else has to be done which is the fun part lol. BTW im ready to get flamed as i know that alot of rotary guys hate piston motors in a RX7 but hey i got a damn good deal so thats y i did this. Anyways site looks awesome and cant wait to become a active member!

looking good man! I am 240 guy also, owning a few (12+) 240's. Currently I just sold my last remaining 2jz s14 and kinda regreting it. I bought a RHD FD thinking it would make me feel better but so far hasnt yet.

I'm sure I will end up with another sr s14 soon.

Good looking swap so far! keep up with the updates.

I like sr's probably the most similar engine to put in a rx7(weight/power/powerband), I hate the v6 and v8 swaps.

How much boost you running on the sr?

rotary > pistons

When i daily it i run about 10 psi but at the track i run like 14 lol

And btw got the exhaust bolted up as well as the intercooler. Just gotta get the wiring harness put in and fab up some intercooler piping as well as figure out what radiator to run, since my s13 KOYO didnt fit lol

Hey, Jarret!
Welcome to the Forum!
I am Deff digging your build.
Once the beast is running, and whatnot if you can we have a few meetups in the north end up here, Redmond, East side Seattle area. It would be good to see it in person .

good luck with your build and keep me posted on it!
