Hey all im spendy from south wales uk, I bought a 92 efini in april this year and have not regretted it 1 bit. She done a 100k miles wen I bought her n had never had a rebuild, so I took it upon myself to have a go myself oh and a mate 2 help. I have never rebuilt an engine and this was my buddys first wankel rebuild n we got it stripped cleaned and rebuilt and in, in a week so happy daysdays so I thought. Next came the battle of the dreaded rats nest, that took me 2 days to get my head around (courtesy of rx7clubs vac diagram, once that was all in it was the end of week 2,turned her over on the key with a lil help from a jump pack n 15mins in, she fired like a bag of crap, a bit of playin with the tps n leavin her tick over n she was runnin great. After the run in period I am now faced with a crackin boost leak from 2ndary turbo which is a pain in the *** considerin iv only had 1 problem since the rebuild and it was just a return pipe from the turbo leaking oil coz we were dull enough to forget to take off the old gasket and put a new 1 straight on top of it. Ye well thats my story so far, wen I get the time I will post some picks up of the rebuild. I just want to add that we wud never have been able to do it without the crackin threads on this site. FACT!
