Although I'm not new to the forum, I am new to having an account on it. I also can't say I'm new to Rx-7's, and I likely don't know as much as many of you; I am new to owning an Rx-7, and I've been able to figure many things out with the help of the search feature here on rx7 club. So, thanks!
but I still have no idea how to find one of those panels that has the vents on it above the passenger side floor, as mine is broken, the passenger side foot vent panel-thing. Anyone know what it's called, or a part number? Is it ok to ask questions on the Introduction thing?
Is it ok to ask questions on the Introduction thing?
depends on what the question is. nothing technical as we have a section for that and no hints of want to buy as we have a section for that as well. other than that, welcome aboard. so what version rx7 do u have? any specific plans for it? pix would be nice too.
I don't have many pics as i'm not home now, but I have one exterior photo:
1988 GXL. Fresh engine as of 13k miles ago, about 140k on everything else. Transmission rebuild likely in order soon, ecu upgrade, interior upholstery needs redone. I will also likely add a presilencer and performance muffler, as it just has a racing beat header with 3" straights to the back. annoyingly loud. It's also my first car, spent a few months checking every day until I found one that I thought was worth buying for a good price.
My only questions right now are these: How do I add a signature to my posts, and what is the panel with the vents called that is above your feet on the passenger side?
Welcome!! Your signature is added in the user control panel. You can access it at any time. It's at the upper left of the page...any page really. Its labeled User CP.
Post a picture of the part you wish to identify and we can tell you what the name of it is. You will likely have to post a want to buy ad in the 2nd gen parts section in the classified section.
Also, would love to see more pictures of your car and if you know any of the car's history!
