New Member 94 RX7

Recently, aka over a year ago, purchased a shell of an RX7 that had been sitting in a field for years.
Rather than the car being crushed I picked it up for cheap and LSx T56 swapped and turbocharged the car.

I mistakenly didnt account for how expensive every little part on this car was.
I actually threw quite a few parts away as I didnt have a garage when I first purchased the car haha. BIG mistake.

So intro, here we are!
Im currently at work, but will post pictures of my turd car later today.

first, of all, welcome to the board.

getting acclimated can be a little rocky, so let me assure you that things will get easier once you have access to the full board.

okay, so first of all, i edited your original post to remove the reference to needed parts, and secondly, i moved the thread here to the Intro section. the Tech section is for pointed questions on ... well ... technical issues or just issues with the car itself.

you can use this to your advantage though. post up some photos, maybe talk about some of the things you've done, maybe talk about your plans, or maybe ask questions. before you know it, you will have enough posts to start using the board to it's fullest.

hope this helps.

I swear Im not as dumb as that makes me look lol
I was looking through the technical section and then figured Id post in one of the 8 tabs I had open.

I understand why youd delete the WTB portion. Although, I dont really want used, so Im not looking to circumvent the classified section.
I was kinda hoping you guys may know of an obscure maker of headlights something, an overseas company or something like that.
I saw a company online that has hideous frog eye style headlights, for like $200 but they have GOD AWFUL reviews, so I was steering clear of that.

Was also interested in any info on why I never see them mounted in the turn signal area.
Is it too low? The 2.5" hid projectors seem like theyd fit, but Ive searched the interwebz and cant seem to find that kind of project or a reasoning not to.

no sweat. you don't look dumb at all.

as far as the lights are concerned, i can't help with that, but if nothing happens here in. let's say, 24 hours, then post a question about them in Tech.

for now, here are some threads to peruse: https://www.rx7club.com/search.php?searchid=15575412

Finally logged back in, figured Id throw up some pictures of my turd and its progress.
Super cheap shell.
Essentially just saving it from being scrapped.
Cheap LS Turbo blah blah blah.

Over the last few months these are the results. Still needs a few more things buttoned up to be able to drive it.
Basically just a f*ckaround car to have fun in with just a small investment.
