Saying hey

Hey all, just joined up recently as I've started working on an RX7 dedicated track car project. I have an '87 NA FC which I'll be putting my 355 in shortly (it has one already but it's not getting it done). Right now I'm getting things ready for the 8.8 swap while putting the car back to manual. This is pushing my experience level so if anyone out there wants to take pity and give me some pointers I'd appreciate it a lot. Also, I'm in MD if anyone wants to meet up sometime to talk shop, thanks!

Welcome! Not a fan of V8 RX-7's but enjoy your build! I'm sure it will turn out nice!

Thanks a lot! My mentor is a drag racer who builds with gen 1 chevy small block, so the engine came first in this case. I've always like the FC so when I learned about the conversion it was an easy decision really. Will post more as the build gets going, right now I'm just gathering all the parts for the rear end + conversion back to manual.
