Hello from Sweden!
My first post here, been here a while reading some here and there but never post anything.
But now I´ve bought my first RX-7!
It´s an Japan car imported to Sweden in 1988. It has been a few owners before me but luckely still original... but it seem to be a early car, and I hope someone might know more facts about the car. Here´s some info...
The Vin is SA22C-127814. Its a 1978, but I don´t know what time/month on the year. Its righthand drive. Has a automatic trans. Has the electric fendermirrors. The front and rear bumpers are steel. Radioantenna is in the windshield and no sunroof. Probably something more I´ve missed out.
I´ll give you some pictures later on...

well you honestly have some work ahead of you, but it's do'able. Keep all updated as the project progresses, photo every step if for nothing more yourself to look back on
whats the gameplan back to original or some sick weekend car?

Thanks!
Yeah, I got two more cars in more or less the same stage of restoration, RX-3 and 1300 Wagon... so I got work to do But I´ll start with this one.
I will go original but with the metallic green instead seen on all early pics of the seven... I dreamed about that car a few years back, but "it will never happen" I thought!
And I´ll keep the automatic too. Would me nice with a manual, but I can´t change for the cars sake ...it will be a icecream-eater-car as we say here at home
I´ll keep you posted as it progress...
