rx7 noob (in NW Ohio)

Hello everyone my name is Dylan Wright. I am an 18 (19 october 9th) year old student attending college. I own a 1986 mazda RX7 with the 13B 5speed. It is red, has some small mods like struts, exhaust, headers, intake. 17in. Rims with stretched tires. I love my car!!!! I bought it with 160k miles REBUILT MOTOR. I do know a bit about Rotor motors but i do not know alot, and i will be asking ALOT OF QUESTIONS. I am a car enthusiast and absolutely love to work on cars!!! I go to The University of Northwestern Ohio for automotive/High-performance getting my bachelors degree. If you would like to ask any questions feel free!!!

Previously: I was a huge neon fan! well still love them, but wanted something a bit different. I owned 2 amazing neons lol a 2000 and a 2001 both 5 speeds. My home used to be the online forum 2gn. o r g...... But i am making this my new home!!!

SO HELLO EVERYONE!

I'm not sure if it is ok to ask questions here but i will, and if it's not ok just tell me please....

I was wondering about Boost... If i decide to boost my car how much boost could i run to it stock? i heard none, i heard rubuilt 8-10psi, and i have heard 14psi will be ok. So will the stock motor hold up ok with 8 PSi? If not what kind of things should i unpgrade on it when boosting it? (like i said new to rotaries lol).

Ha go Ohio! I have a 1990 with a turbo 2 engine I'm only running 5 psi right now, but I know it can handle around 10 psi. I'm not sure if there are any major differences between the 13b and the 13b turbo 2. Hope that helps
