Rx7 girl here!

Hey there! I have owned my vert for 7 years (holy crap I didn't realize it's really been that long). Quickly fell in love with the cars. Last summer, it died. Finally have had the money for parts and my ex has had the time to work on it. It lives again! But still not driveable, and we're not quite sure as to why. So I'm here to do a little research, and probably ask some silly questions using girly descriptions of car sounds/behavior. Bear with me! I'm not very good at speaking the car language, but I understand it pretty darn well.

I'm looking forward to getting input and support from this lovely community! 😊

Hahaha nahhh I don't think so. Maybe in a tiny way because we have a daughter and we'd be a whole family again, but that's it. I think he helps work on it because then he gets to drive it. Most people around town think it's HIS car, even though I am the one that has always driven it! His rx7 sits in his garage in a million pieces waiting for some love (and money). Working on my car doesn't say much, he used to work on another car of a girl he dated for awhile, before me, while we were together. We still get along well.

This girl would rather be able to do the work herself! If I could have someone else do it, I would. I can't afford to pay someone, though I could easily bat my eyelashes and get a dozen dudes offering to help for free. Not that kind of girl. (Maybe I should be.. I realllllly want to drive my car!) I really don't like "relying" on my ex. But so far I haven't been able to snap my fingers and make a place to work on it, a full set of tools, and the know-how to fix it, magically appear. 🙄 Right now, I think that'd be the key to my heart! Haha

Once I read through a vast amount of info on here,I started getting familiar with the Car,so If you grab a beverage and settle in with your laptop for a couple cozy nights of info cramming..heh,you'd be surprised at what you can achieve.
My car went from 140HP to 357HP..!..with just Add ons!

That's the plan! As soon as I'm done fixing my laptop. Haha. I'm still not going to be able to do much, even if I figure out how. I don't think that'd go over well. Too many chefs in a super small kitchen? Especially if one thinks they know better than the other. He already doesn't like it when I make suggestions. "Why don't you have one of your internet boyfriends work on it then." I don't have anywhere to keep it to work on it either. 😣 But I'm still going to give it a shot!
