Hi all

Wanted to say hi and get some posts out of my way so I can post a WTB parts list. I plan on purchasing a blue/blue '87 GXL tomorrow and will be needing some help, since I am new to rotaries and a little green when it comes to cars in general.

The FC has 98K on the chassis and 10K on a rebuilt engine swapped in by a Mazda dealership. The owner took very good care of this car and has paperwork and wiring diagrams. The body is in excellent shape for a New England car (no rust!), but some d-bag stole a bunch of the interior bits. It drives fine and I followed the buyer's guides here and can't find any major problems, but there are a bunch of minor ones, like a high idle and sloppy shifter (check TPS and bushings are available- I've been doing my homework). I plan on repairing these things bit-by-bit over the winter, then setting it up as a summer toy and autocross car.

I also have a 98 Impreza 2.2L as my winter beater and daily driver. There's a chance I may not buy this one, but I'm definetly looking around for FCs.
