Reliving the Glory days

New to the forum Dayton, Ohio area. 1st car at 16 was a 86 Rx-7, been a few years since then. Happened to find a 87 GXL a couple of months ago, its siting in the garage now. Its a complete car but the engine could not be turned over by hand. I guess its now time for the fun to begin.

Welcome to the forum from a fellow Ohio resident!! Would love to see pictures of the car! Any idea how long the car has been sitting?

No idea how long it sat. The person I bought it from got it for a parts car, no title. The guys son knew a guy that knew the previous owner and was able to get the title. It is definitely in to good condition to become a parts car. The cars front end was in water at some point. engine wouldn't crank by hand. Engine tear down https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generati...using-1161094/. The only "major" rust would be front drivers frame rail, power steering leak, I believe caused it. I tried to post pics of it here but needs admin approval.

The car definitely does look too nice to be a parts car!! It looks to be in nice shape despite needing restored. The paint appears to be original as well which is a nice bonus!
