S4 irons and housing

Just got my S4 torn down, Engine could not be turned over by hand. Do these housing and irons look like the could be refinished. Rotors are shot. Pics of during the tear down and then cleaned up.

It can be hard to tell sometimes in photos, but the last few photos (center iron and end iron) both seem to show material missing from the face. Those are 100% done for, and cannot be reused.

The topmost end iron in the photos might be saveable, if those deposits on the surface come free. I can't tell if some of them are deposits or missing material. Again, if material is missing, it's a non-starter.

The housing has quite a bit of chrome flaking, and something looks funky near the exhaust port (though that may be the photo). It may be reusable if you clean it up, but it would make me nervous.

All in all, if you can still get S4 NA parts at an affordable price near you, I wouldn't reuse anything there. Rust is a killer.

maybe 1 iron is resurfaceable, housings are junk. double check for cracks at spark plug holes if you see any, especially over 2mm long, its definitely junk.
