CA Relighting the torch

My first three cars were FB's. At 13 I picked up my frist for $250 with a blown motor 12A. Did some research, hung out with older folks and swapped in my first of many 4 port 13B's. These motors were cheap to get from Japan and only mod I had to do was get a longer throttle cable. My favorite was my 85' GSL with the IMSA molded wide body kit. My dad handed this down to me with a 12A which quickly got swapped to the 4 port 13B. Stared drag racing at 13 and ended up doing competitive autocrossing with SCCA SF and track days and pro7 with NASA. Than I had kids... Been thru the Audi scene, Bimmer scene and some minor off road stuff. Now im just here to support my son as we learn and share our passion for the ROTARY engine!

Today in 2019 my 18 year old son picked up his first FUN to drive car. an S4 87 FC RX7 n/a with 175k miles. All original parts except the mods of course. So far we have been doing the TLC going thru what we can. The thing surprisingly runs good for its age and everything works except blowing any air thru the HVAC system. Probably an blower motor or resister. Hope to meet some folks and trade a wealth of information from members here!
