TN rainracer37080 -new RX7Club member - not car noob..

Hello All

I am building a 85 FC to do autocross and track events (endurance racing oneday). I am a SCCA racer (inactive license) raising 2 little crewdogs. The wife and I used to race an 82 V8 Camaro in regional and national events - went to 2 SCCA Valvoline National Championships - I built the car from the ground up, nothing was sent out but engine machine work. I can build from end to end and also do electronics (burn EEPROMS if needed) - almost 35 years of building toys - not a noob.

The ASEDAN racercar was killer in the rain, and so am I - that is where the RAINRACER handle comes in.

Anywho, I have caged the car and am now working on the suspension and brakes - that is why I am here - needing advice and parts for a 2500 lb, 400 bhp (unknown powerplant) track machine buildout

Thanks in Advance,

Jerry Lee, aka rainracer37080

Rides:
92 BMW 535i 5speed, 3.46 posi, RD sway bars, KYB struts, powerslots, hawk brake pads, JimC chip, mod exhaust (no center muffler, modified 2.25 custom pipes) - looks stock, very fast - not quick, but fast for a 300 k car

99 Chevy K2500 'Burban - 4.10 lockers on both ends, NP-205 transfer case, engine & exhaust mods - 8200lbs of mod'd 4 wheeldrive towmobile, 210 kmi

2002 Old Dominion 24' enclosed dual 6000 lb axle carhauler

95 BWM 325i - stock wife's car...
