point me in the right direction

Hi my name is Eddie and I know about rotary (not much other then concept) I am NOT car illiterate I do American v8 all day and have had many projects of my own and helped others with theirs.

currently Ive been wanting a car like the Westfield XTR2 or the Ariel atom but have decided that i want to build my own track day car from the ground up and Im looking at different power plants and a rotary is a good option in my opinion and I want to know more about it like what one 13b??? and how much these weigh? and is a 250-300hp goal easily and reliably reachable?

I know that I don't know much about rotary so save time insulting me about that and point me in the right direction I know that there is all this info somewhere on the internet but I'm not exactly computer friendly.

I am not set on a rotary but the high revs and top end power seem to fit the build i want
