A pleasure to join Rx7club
Hello to all users new and old. My name is Ariel and I am a new 93 rx7 owner. Just recently picked up my FD in a trade. I was given the fd and a 93 Honda accord wagon for my 2000 Honda civic si. The fd is in very good shape but the engine is locked up so over the winter I will have some work on my hands. About me I am 26 living in upstate ny. I just finished serving in 8 years in the US Army and am currently on a vacation called unemployment lol. I lived in puerto Rico till I was 19 then I joined the army. I have been to S. Korea, Afghanistan and Iraq. This is not my first rotary. I had a 1985 Rx-7 GSL-SE which a young lady decided to use as a landing strip for her Mitsubishi mirage. After that I bought a 1981 Toyota starlet which I had till about 2 years ago. In that time period I also had a 1987 Rx-7 turbo II. It wasn't till about 2 years ago that I decided to venture into the world of Hondas but I have made my return to what I love most. The Rotary engine! Now that I have my fd and will store it to where I would like it to be( in the 500+ hp club) I will not part with it UNLESS someone offers me a beautiful Rx-3 which is my dream car. I am glad to be a part of this community and hope to share some of my knowledge and also receive knowledge from others.
Congratulations on the buy and thanks for taking the time to register with RX-7 Club, Ariel! Sorry to hear about you being part of our pesky national 9.8% problem but many thanks for serving the country! I hope somebody out there will solve your problem this year.

I personally think it's a shame a person serves the country in dangerous places, finishes up his military career and then has to beg for a job stateside. There oughtta be an Affirmative Action law for military-related situations like yours.

Thanks but I personally don't think I'm better then anyone else and should get special treatment. Buuuutttttt the mods feel that way they could always waive my member probation post count period lol just playing. But really thanks it's always nice when people appreciate the sacrifice u have made for their freedom and country.

Since you're ex-military, I'll go in and fix and undelete your 'FS' thread for ya
I served in Iraq back in 2002 and five years total active duty. Lots of rotary nuts are either current or ex military
