Picked up a TO4R Race Ported FD--First Rotary

Hi Fellas....

I've been a member for a long time...mostly an occasional lurker but now its time to finally post. My brothers and I all grew up in the 90's and not surprisingly now that we are mostly grown up and financially stable we picked up our childhood dream cars.

As for myself I own a 95 3000GT VR-4. Younger brother always lusted over the FD and picked one up 1.5 years ago and youngest is still in the hunt for an NSX....his s2k is keeping him content for the time being though...lol

Anyways enough about me, here is a mod list of the car accompanied by some pictures. (supplied by seller when he was selling the car)

1994 Mazda RX7 R2
63k original miles only
the car was prepared by Steve Kan in Forth Worth, Texas
Race ported 2 rotor engine with 3mm apex seals
Race tuned at 24psi with 507 HP at the wheels (see attached dyno sheet) that's over 630 HP at the flywheel.
Pettit Racing intercooler with pull fan and switch
HKS TO4R cutback single turbo (best and fastest spooling turbo made by HKS- google it)
JIC FTLAT RACING fully adjustable coil over suspension $$$$ purchased from Japan
Suspension Techniques sway bars.
Haltec fully adjustable computer management (with laptop included)
HKS twin pack ignition
mazdaspeed frame
Kaaz racing differential
CCW racing 3 piece wheels 18 in custom offset
Greddy turbo controller
Greedy electronic boost controller
Pioneer stereo w/ MP3 and pioneer speakers

I should mention we have our own repair shop and thats what we primarily do for a living...so cars are nothing new to us.(autotecx...you can google us!) However the rotary is. My brother loves the car and all but I'm the auto geek of the 3. Hence here I am posting.

So we've had the car for 1.5 years...we've probably put hardly 500 miles on it in that time. Its currently running pump gas and 13lbs of boost. As far as maint, fluid changes, etc...Ive changed the oil(amsoil) and everytime the gas tank has been filled its been filled with a bottle of amsoil dominator 2 cycle oil. Other than that I pressure tested the car to make sure its got no boost leaks...also pulled a plug and took a look at it...nice tan brown color..seems to be running fine.

On the few ocassions weve taken the car out, weve run it against a few fast cars....FP red EVO--500+whp, fpblack evo w/600+whp...single turbo mustang...~500whp and a few others...with my youngest brother at the wheel(he's the best driver) the car has held its own against the competition. Its definitely impressed me. Ive built and tuned my own car currently at 500whp only 20lbs boost at the moment.

So with all that being said....as far as mechanicals go...what do we have in our hands? What is this car capable of? How do we NOT blow this thing up?...lol I've googled a bit but information that I've seen is all over the place.
