Peace! 13b mx-5 builder from Germany here

Hello everyone, just wanted to say hi
Have fallen in love with rotors a while ago and from then have started a 13b swap project for my mx-5. Will put a thread up soon.

Sounds like an awesome project! What gen mx-5? I’ve got an LS swapped NC and I love the thing. The 13b should give your Miata the wake up it needed.

So I put up a thread last night of a somewhat detailed writeup, it said that someone has to approve of it or something. Fingers crossed!

FL MX5 rotary conversion

Good luck with your build. I installed a Turbo ll 13B in my 1991 Miata several years ago. A lot of cutting and welding. I had to remove the front suspension several times for fitment and used a front motor mount like on the early model engine ( I think it was a 12A mount). Used the turbo transmission, cut the drive shaft, etc. The power plant frame was also modified. I discarded the turbo and went with a Weber DCOE on a Racing Beat intake. I also dropped a 12A in my Lotus Elan. Between the two cars driving them was the most fun you can have with your clothes on. Just make sure you are wearing dark pants, the ride is very exciting. I hope to hear how the build goes.
