New to this forum, finally decided to make an account to try and learn some things in my current process of building up my 85 GS. Originally I purchased the 85 GSL in September as my first rotary, and then after finding out it was originally and automatic and was not kept up at all I decided to purchase a factory manual 85 to swap everything in to. The 85 I have is a Texas car, no rust, and is entirely stripped. I'm aware mazda changed some things up in 84 but both of my cars are post 84 so they should be more or less compatible. I'm going to swap the rear axle from the GSL to the GS to get 4 wheel disc brakes, and send the 12a off to racing beat to get minorly ported and all resurfaced. Hope I will enjoy my time here.
