lol so i see. i guess now's not the time to tell you i'm a pretty big honda (VTAK FOREVER!!!1!) fan is it...
i do agree that a lot of hondas are just plain crap, some owners give the rest a bad rep.
the transition can be long and painful, but you can do it if you're committed enough. I've seen people acquire sec gens for a few months and then switching back to good ol H@&@a's. Getting used to actually taking care of your car in a ways you've never experienced can be... a nuisance. Rotaries are less tolerable to things you've gotten used to doing to your H#&@a, without proper precautions. I mean things like 100 shot of nawz and 20lbs of boost can be seen commonly in your "h#&@a game" but 13b's are not as tough as b series and require more knowledgeable and careful tuning. Also keep you seven clean. There have been reports of 7's exploding or bursting into flames after only few miles of driving when equipped with useless fart cans or aftermarket wings. Anyway welcome, and don't get discouraged, cause those are 20+ year old cars and sometimes you will have to get your hands dirty... all the time.
I too got talked out of the honda game by my Mazda friends. I love my turbo II and I'm currently saving for a rebuild and upgrade. If you've never driven anything but FWD hondas I suggest driving one first. RWD is a whole other ball game. I'm old and started in rwd pontiacs before I bought my first CRX. I have to say its good to be back in a rwd boosted car.
that's the ******* truth!
its red wit 18inch rims wit the wide lip on the back. it no longer has the flip up head lights and a few mods all the work done on it was done by 'T and R racing' they specialize in rx7. send me ut email and i'll send u some picks

Honda convert myself, too. I've been a Honda girl for YEARS and have to admit it was Initial D that got me into the FD. The biggest change going from FWD to RWD is having to change my driving habits. If the back end slipped out of my Honda, I knew exactly what to do. But I was actually nervous to drive my FD too too fast because if the back end/front end slipped out, I wasn't sure what to do to get her back under control, and the only race track in my end of the universe is closed for renos, so there's no place to safely experiment. I still won't push her too hard, cuz I'm just not sure what till happen in a slide. Guess that serves me right for being FWD for so long, huh.

if you weren't in Canada i'd say check out your local Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) chapter auto crosses for a safe environment to push your car, idk if Canada has something similar but its worth a look.
i like hondas.. my 2100lb hatch has 350+whp.. 35mpg too.. theres nothing not to like about it.. people be hating.. not to mention it doesn't overheat and if it did it won't blow up
but anyways i love my rx7.. welcome to the world of shitty gas milage

So jealous... I got my sedan up to about 210-ish and thought that was a big accomplishment (from the 109hp stock, it was an accomplishment!). But then my FD came stock with more hp than that and I quickly lost interest in my Honda. I kinda miss her, actually.

oh let make fun of him
