I own a FD .

When I talk to people who have a FC they say they wish they could afford a FD. The FD is costly all around. I have a ton of money in mine and I am not running yet do to my lack of time. Also I need o spen a few more $$$ to have it running.

If you go with a FC you deffently will be on thecheaper side of things. FC look good but do not compare to a FD. I would get a FC myself to have as another toy to play with, but wouldn't trade my FD for anything. Well maybe a R34.

Bottome line, add 20 percent to your coast that you think you will spend on fixing up a FC or FD and go from there Also you dont want to get a car then fix it up and wish you got the other. Try to drive both and go with what feels good to you.

I bought mine because I like Mazdas and I like to go to the track, and the only Mazda I saw that was consistently quicker than my Miata around a road course was the FD3S.

Like I mentioned before, the FC is an absolute blast to drive at or just above it's limits...when a well sorted FC begins to let go, it's (for me anyway ) pretty easy to reel it back in. I've never driven a Nissan 240sx, but I imagine they're pretty similar at the limit: Kinda tailhappy, but easily controlled.

The FD, in my experience, is flat-out quicker around any given road course, but it's also a bit of a handful when it DOES finally begin to slide. My '93 is definitely less twitchy than my '01 Miata, but it's way scarier too.

lol, I almost soiled myself at Buttonwillow, trying to lose a guy in an EVO VIII.

My opinion the FD is the better car among the two and if you're willing to shell out the extra cash, I'd say it's definately worth it.

I've owned a Fc before my fd . FD = Financial Disaster simple as that.

FD looks way better than a FC (imo)
Fd has more aftermarket support
FD is a track monster

I beat the hell out of my FC and it still kept on ticking. Don't try that with an FD

ive owned several of both. The FC is a classic. Its sexy in its own right but not sleek or modern. It has a lot of potential, and they are fun as hell to drive. I beat the crap out of it all the time and the only thing i worried about was the oil dripping onto my drive way... well. i worried when the oil stopped dripping.

FD -- sexy, sleek and fast. I BEAT THE **** out of my FD and it runs like a champ. Honestly, although the FD is a blast to drive, and i love everything about it, the fun factor in the FC is just a bit better. Maybe because i could crash the FC into a wall and pay 500 bucks for a chassis..

I wouldnt trade my FD for any FC, but id buy an FC in a heart beat.

Even if I was baller rich and had to choose one, I'd def go for an FC. I personally like the look a bit better. But also, a huge deciding factor is the parts availability for OEM
