Hello Everyone,
My name is Mike and I live in Georgia. Back in '91 I had bought my '82, so it has been along time.
Black '82 GSL, after repainting I used gold pinstripping rather than the original red and white. Of course the electric antennae had broken so I bought one of those universal ones that was about 12 inches high with the corkscrew type look in the middle. Also, had a kill switch under the battery holder.


Short version is that I was in my second year of college and my Dad talked me into selling it to get a car that was more "dependable". This dependable vehicle was being sold
by a family member and I should also buy it to help them out. Well that piece of junk left me stranded so many times that I quit counting.
This was one of those defining moments in my life where I learned that you should not always do as others say.

Fast forward to current times. I have been hunting for an '81 - '85 for a while now, and none have really hit me. After some soul searching I think my problem is that I just want
my old car back - I know, nearly impossible right.

Well, just the other day I used that vin tool online, you know the one with the fox. What a waste of money that was, it told me nothing. Therefore I thought my next option was to just reach out on this site.
It doesnt hurt to just try.



I have no aversion to getting a different fb and it will likely come to that, but sometimes we just have to try and hope for the best.
