oldie but a newbie

Hey all. My name is Eric and I am in the midwest. I have had 9 7's in total ranging from a 79, 80, 85, 86, 88, 87, 90, 81, 86. I can typically get 250k miles out of mine. I prefer the 5 speeds vs the autos as the response is better in the feel of the drive train. I have been inside a few of the rotories. My 90 I decided to have fun with and have installed a 351c under the hood with no hole and did this myself without a kit. All prefabbed by me. I am very good mechanically, electrically, and can diagnose a lot of issues, hence the 250k miles. I am still learning things all the time about the 7's. I really enjoy these cars as they are a true sports car. Currently I am putting a 7 together for my son who is now 15. I like the idea that there are only 2 seats. In my opinion, when he is at the light with a friend in the car telling him to hit, he will have a lot more ability to say no since it will be one on one. Versis the alternative of a car with a rear seat and pilling 3 other kids in the car and the extra demand to subcumb to peer pressure.

Hope I can keep up with everyone.
