NorIda - Trevor - 1988
Well, I've been scouring the forum for a bit, decided to hop on and make a name. I mainly became a member so I could source some parts
I've owned a 1988 SE automatic transmission shell for about a year, I didn't do anything to it besides park it in my storage unit for a year. I have a 1989 240sx that took all my time this summer so the rx7 sat dormant. I through the rx7 up on Craig's and got a buyer for $425, not a bad deal considering I paid $200. That same day, a buddy told me about a cheap rx7 his buddy had and needed to get rid of. I called his friend and he said he did and it had a turbo, I was stoked and went and bought the car for $500 the same day.
I don't think the dude knows much about rx7's (not that I do) cause the hubcaps were painted white and it looked as though he tried primering spots of the car but instead of white, like the rest of the car, he did gray.
Me and some buddies were messing around and accidentally through a rock at the windshield, put a big hole in it and shattered almost top to bottom. I'm surprised it went through cause some owner along the way put some river bronze tint around the car. Guess it worked out cause I couldn't stand it.
There's boxes of parts in the car so I'll sort through and see what there is. And I'll post some pictures soon, she's not much but should be a fun beater.
Oh and "NorIda" stands for North Idaho if anyone else is from here!
