Hey whats up, my name is Steve and I have always loved the rx-7's and am looking at buying a '87 turbo II. Right now I drive a 2007 Scion tC and the FC would be my toy/weekend warrior. I will likely only do suspension/performance mods while trying to keep the integrity of the car and fix it up to look nice. I live in St Louis, MO and am currently in Chiropractic School (similar to Med school). I love cars and love to work on them. I have a decent knowledge of electronics, I am currently an mobile audio installer on the weekends which I have been doing for 5 years now. Let me know if you have any questions on that stuff and would be glad to give advice/help.

If anyone has any input on buying an 87 turbo II let me know..I just went and looked at it tonight and will likely go get it tomorrow. I took pics if anyone wants to see them.

 

Where at exactly in St.Louis? We have quite a few members in the area, just nobody really ever comes out and plays. You should check out the Midwest section for everything St.Louis.


There's also a Dyno Tuning session coming up at the last weekend of November, you should try to make it out there.

well just made an offer on a car tonight so I should have it by either tomorrow night or sat morning. I hope this car is a good deal it seems like it. Not extremely worried though since it will not be my DD so if I need to fix stuff I can. Maybe someone local would go with me to pick it up?

I just made an offer on a TII and am going to get it tonight or tomorrow morning. The problem is I know plenty about normal internal combustion engines but don't know crap about a rotary. I am trying to get someone who knows about them to take a look at the car with me before I had the cash over. Is there anyone in the STL area that would want to go with me?
