Newbie in TX
Been surfing the site for awhile and decided to post up. Mostly been into road racing motorcycles last 15 years. But at 40, I just don't heal like I use to so it's back to cages. My last high side cost me a year of rehab and 8 breaks including my back. Not to mention my punched out Hayabusa died at the scene (RIP).
Car builds of the past mostly consisted of NA V8 builds for drag. However, my buddy conviced me to mod my 02 Maxima (daily driver) for the twisties while in rehab with about everything you can do external and NA (1 1/2" drop, front/back tower brace, sway bar, headers, full exhaust, CAI, spacers, SAFCII, pullies, technosquare tune, etc...). I left the stock appearance on purpose.
My Maxima having several drawbacks with an AT, FWD and a daily driver being the most evident, I am looking for a true sportscar to play around with on weekends and always admired the FD's. I'm looking into a Lotus a friend owns but leaning towards an FD R1/R2 since I always wanted one. Anyway, just wanted to shout out and give props to the members for all the great threads. It's hard to find a forum that keeps things clean and useful.
Here's a few pics of my sleeper minus a few mod installs. Forgive me but she's a dirty girl!
