No beating around the bush. I need to get my post count up so I can browse the classifieds!
I previously owned two 1st gens over 20 years ago. I've always liked the FD and am looking for the right one.

Well, you're in the right place, I think these forums are the best place to buy. I got my FD here, and I'm loving it. Never had any first gen experience though. What's prompting you to get back into the rotary game?
I wanted an FD for the longest time when I was younger. The whole high maintenance and reliability thing kinda scared me away from getting one since I was really into going to a lot of track days at one point. I had an EVO and currently own an S2000 that I use as my primary track vehicle. Those two platforms are great for low maintenance and reliable track day performance.
If/when I pick up an FD, it'd be primarily a street car / garage queen. In that role, I don't mind a car that's higher maintenance.
