yea where would i buy one of the jdm motors an does it have to be an s4 turbo 2, what are my choices for engine, can i get a na 13b an put my turbo 2 stuff on it an put it in my 87 turbo 2 shell, an if some one wants the shell i can make them a good deal. so i can start with a running car.

It doesn't have to be an S4 engine but it is a lot easier putting it in. You have to deal with rewiring the S5 engine if you decide to go that route.

I wouldnt suggest getting a N/A engine to turbo it. I would just find a decent S4 Turbo II and it will be a clean swap.

Well its always good to check classifieds, Ebay, Craigslist.
Ive never seen an RX7 in a junk yard but you could check there too.
You could always check on here too. Lots of guys sell there stuff on here.
Ill be heading to the darkside in due time, So I should have a running S5 N/A for sale.

Did you mean $800? If you could replace all of the wireing, the I would just use an S5 carb.

It would be your best bet to wait it out to find a decent, low milage S4 turbo motor.
They are also better platforms for reasons that I cant remember.

Im gonna swallow my pride and let someone else answer that question. I really havent tested them that much. But I can tell you that I think S5 would be a better turbo, on a S4 pumpkin.
