Bought an RX7 in '79 and never sold it. With only 22,000 miles it may be the lowest mileage car in captivity. Appeared on the Jan 1981 cover of Car and Driver. I have been fortunate enough to set a few Bonneville records with rotary power: 160 in '74, 180 in '78, and 238 in '86. Other than having kids, the pass at 244 was tops. sincerely, don sherman
That car definitely falls under the Survivor classification if no mods have been done to it! 
RX-7's aren't there yet but those kinds of cars are gold in the musclecar hobby. Keep it stock and never repaint it!
