Well, now, you may be new to the site but are ye also new to manners, eh?

Seein' as how this is the Introduce yourself board, how about a name and maybe a little story on what made you "go rotary"...?

Sorry about the "rudeness" it's just that I posted like 3 different ones, they started getting short.

Ryan is the name. Rotary is the game. After watching Fast and the Furious and Tokyo Drift I was fascinated with RX7s. Buddy owns a 2006 RX8 fun but not the infamous Seven. I found the RX7 I knew would be mine when I was just dicking around driving with friends in Hawaii. Parked in a remote desolate corner on a back street in the middle of no where was this beauty with a for sale sign. The rest is history. Ill get pics up soon!

For the time it came out, Fast and Furious fit the bill for the serious gearheads and street racers...everyone knows the bits like "turning right" after the quarter mile were added to give it cult status like the earlier cult films American Graffiti and Two Lane Blacktop, which also had grievous errors in technical terms. These "errors" were meant to test one of the characters or even the audience. If you couldn't catch that lie, boy, I'm about to take yer money. I don't know how many guys with "stock" 69 Chargers that could go 160 mph I smoked but the 'Bird ate a lot of 'em.

Thanks for the fill-in, Ryan, cool story.
