Hey all,
Well I am a newb here as you can see. Just picked up a 87 GLX 5 speed, with 125K miles. Also being a Vermont car its rare that its not rotted, with no rust.
This is my 2nd RX, I had a 84 way back about 14 years ago. Actually my very first car at 17yo.
It needs a little tlc as it went through a little hail storm. So basically needs some body work. I'll do most of it in the garage + a few little tid bits here and there.
Right now in the middle of rear struts replace. Are there any how to's? I would be willing to post a full how to with pics for the rear strut remove and replace.
I tried to post it in gen. specific but it says I need more than 3 posts.

Oh yea lol, my name is mike, Im from northern vermont. If all works out, I will not be driving the car once the snow starts to fly.

 

Which is why I really like it down here....it snows once in a while but it's not a guaranteed event like it is for y'all up North. Take care of her!

 

The snow is not what I hate. I hate it when temps are always below 0. Like last night, it was 20 degrees when I came home at 4am this morning, and its only october. And with an average winter we see over 100" per year. Probably more than that just guessing.
