New V8 FD owner from Houston

Hello all,!
Cheers!,my name is Norm!..NORM!!!(pun!)
I just purchased my first RX-7 about three weeks ago. I've had a number of sports cars in the past with my last one being a Pontiac GTO. In the end the GTO was not extreme enough for a weekend car so I sold it and was lucky enough to grab up this beauty. It is a 1993 base model powered by an LS1 from a 2003 Corvette with basic bolt-ons and untuned, here are some pics.

Here is the baseline dyno from when I dropped by the shop oil change.

Overall the car has been a blast to drive so far and I'm really enjoying it. The suspension has been completely upgraded so the only plans for right now are to do a dyno tune next week and a brake upgrade then just drive and enjoy it for the rest of the year.

I was looking at purchasing that one when I saw it for sale. Very clean and just like previously stated. Sometimes less is more. Looks great.

Hahahaha, so this is your new LS car? :P
Or was your GTO a classic? (My first car was a 1970 GTO Judge.)

Gorgeous car. What subframe are you using. Or more like what mount kit is in it?

Thanks, I was actually at PowerFab today so they could dyno tune it, change plugs/wires, and do some other maintenance on it. I still think I'm the least powerful LSx FD that they work on, hahaha.

Thanks for the meet info, I'm going to make it out to the October meet for sure!

Are you still on a factory rear? If so do you plan on upgrading it?

I believe it has the TII differential. If it blows up I'll just replace it with who knows what.
