New from Toronto, Ontario.
Hey guys.
My name's Mike. I'm from a city called Burlington just to the west of Toronto. I figure before I say why I'm here, I should show you what I've done before.
My first love was mustangs, and over a period of a couple years I built a black 96gt. Modifications included; Vortech supercharger, comp cams, edelbrock headers, zex nitrous. was very fast and fun, but very cookie cutter. You could go to a mustang meet and see 15 cars that looked and sounded identical.
I decided one day that I had enough, and sold my mustang. I was winter driving a 2006 Subaru Impreza, but as I'm sure you all know, i couldn't leave it alone. Instead of doing the typical STI or WRX swap. i decided to go into somewhat uncharted territory. as this is what i ended up with

as far as i know it is the first (and only) 2006+ eg33 engined impreza. I've been driving this swap for almost a year now, and to be honest i'm not happy with it. it's dare i say, boring. As of right now I'm building a 2jz for it, and hopefully that wakes it up.
Now, the reason i'm here is I have always loved Rx-7's, particularly the FD chassis. I'm thinking of building one, for a new weekend/track toy. I initially was interested in doing a 20b, but the 13b is always an option as well. anyways, i look forward to doing some research, and learning about the rotary engine, as it is uncharted territory for me.
